Physical exercise is important for maintaining health and mobility as we age. Here are some recommended types of exercises for older adults. Bodyweight exercises (e.g., squats, push-ups, and lunges). Resistance band exercises. Light weightlifting. Standing on one foot. Heel-to-toe walk.
